Breakfast Musings
So I was eating my cereal this morning. It's called Vanilla Almond Crunch. Wait let me restate that. Vanilla ALMOND crunch. Yes. You heard me. Vanilla ALMOND Crunch.
So I'm eating my cereal and, of course, reading the box because that's what I've done since I was 3. On the back of the box, in red lettering, with a big star next to is the phrase, "This product may contain almonds."
Wait. What? Are you kidding me? Vanilla Almond Crunch may contain Almonds? Gasp!
I have to wonder who won the Darwin Award to make that a necessary component of my cereal box...

Idaho Exposed!
Some people think that Idahoans are just backwood hicks with the personality of a potato.
Well, I'm here to impress upon you that this idea is completely false. David and I just completed our month long tour of this great state. I have the personal experience to prove it.
While in Idaho, there was a lot of hard work done. Especially in the garden.
Idahoans have discovered the secrets against world starvation. In the Lott home, there were enough peas planted, harvested, and frozen to feed the entire country of Sierra Leone.
There was, of course, the typical cattle round-up.
And traditional visits to Yellowstone National Park.
David took another certification exam which decides your fate and all of your children's children's fate as well as your salvation in the next life.

And I got to spend time with my family, including my new nephew.

As well as see two 45 year old twins WITH MATCHING MULLETS in the grocery store.
(sorry about the poor photo quality, as it was taken from the pocket of my sweater.)

See, not void of personality at all.
